Band

I had practice last night. Although it wasn't a "full" band practice (one of my guitar players was sick) I had a great time. We have 3 new songs that we have been working on the past 2 months that I really like. Although I think one of them just got canned because its too Kelly Clarksonish. I have to remind myself that the boys I play with don't want to be in a pop band, they want to be in a rock band. We are always trying to find a happy medium with our songs and have been successful on 2 out of the 3 we just wrote.

Hopefully someday we will find time to get back in the studio and record all of our stuff. I would really like to have a full CD to force my children to listen to so they can tell us how bad our music is and make fun of us. Just like I did to my parents. =) I would really like to "remake" one of their songs from their band and record it. I think they would enjoy it. Hmmm...will have to get on that. Oh and convince the rest of the guys that they want to do it too.
